I know that too many Lions are content to stay within the confines of their own clubs and never experience the exhilaration of meeting other Lions and learning new ways of making their home clubs better.

We all joined Lions Clubs with our "Hearts and Hands to Make a Difference" in someone’s life.

I encourage all Lions to visit other clubs and learn new ways of helping people and pick up some points along the way towards DG Kris’s contest.

By the way, if you want to know what’s going on around the world in Lionism, there are 3 ways to find out:

1. The internet web site.

2. The Lion magazine and,

3. An official District Governor visit to your club. If your club hasn’t scheduled one yet, you need to do so now.

Last year as 2nd VDG I visited 83% of the clubs within the district. By the end of July, I will have visited with 7 Lions Clubs across District 29-0. It’s my goal this year to visit all clubs.
